Welcome to 901 Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware, a historic building transformed into a regal focal point, marking the Downtown Wilmington rebirth. This complex project presented unique challenges that our team overcame with innovative solutions. Covering over 63,000 square feet of EIFS and featuring 13,000 square feet of custom-fabricated aluminum trims and cornices, the building's exterior showcases our ability to turn old structures into architectural masterpieces. Our close collaboration with the general contractor, architect, and envelope consultant ensured that our work seamlessly coordinated with others and met rigorous testing standards.
THE REBIRTH OF DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON
SUMMARY
Our work on 901 Market Street extended to grand cornices in multiple colors, varying depth panels, and intricate depth and definition, all demanding meticulous planning and precision. Over the course of fewer than nine months, we executed over 20,000 square feet of stacked stone and 3,500 square feet of limestone banding, enhancing the building's beauty and functionality. The installation incorporated state-of-the-art drainage mortar netting to maintain the rain screen design. We also installed over 10,000 linear feet of custom-designed aluminum trim, transition molding, channels, and drip edges, meeting the highest standards for air and water screens integral to the rain screen design. 901 Market Street showcases our ability to bring a project from concept to finish, with smart value engineering and precision processes ensuring it was completed on time and within budget.
